Broadview opened in July 2025 because we believed the choices in San Diego were too big, too clinical, or too expensive — and not focused enough on the actual person walking through the door.
We are intentionally small. Twelve beds. One property. Three residences across two acres in Lemon Grove. Our medical director knows every client by name. Our founders run admissions personally, 24 hours a day. And every plan of care is designed around what comes after detox and residential — because lasting recovery doesn’t end on discharge day.
“Broadview Recovery was founded on the belief that personalized, compassionate care changes lives. With over 50 years of combined experience, our team provides a full continuum of services — from medical detox to residential treatment, MAT, and family support. We’re committed to helping each client and their loved ones find lasting recovery.”

Our medical director, David Deyhimy, MD, is board-certified in addiction medicine and internal medicine. He’s named on the homepage because he is the program —
Family involvement isn’t an afterthought. With consent, families participate in education, weekly sessions, and discharge planning starting at admission.
PHP, IOP, sober-living placements, MAT continuation, and outpatient therapy are arranged before you leave Broadview — not handed to you on a sheet of paper.
Lemon Grove sits in eastern San Diego County, fifteen minutes from downtown San Diego and minutes from La Mesa and the rest of East County. Our property covers two acres and includes three residential buildings, a pool, garden, fruit trees, and a small goat sanctuary. Private and semi-private rooms are available. Quiet residential streets, sober community living.

Broadview Recovery is JCAHO accredited and licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services (License #370314AP). We are also LegitScript-certified for healthcare advertising compliance.
